In order to run the app locally in your dev environment, you may need to install the plugins listed below. In order to do this, navigate to the root SpoonFeedMe ionic project folder, and run the following commands:
- Text to speech:
cordova plugin add cordova-plugin-tts
- Whitelist:
cordova plugin add cordova-plugin-whitelist
- Voice Recognition
cordova plugin add https://github.com/milestester/SpeechRecognitionPlugin
- Insomnia (keeping screen on)
cordova plugin add https://github.com/EddyVerbruggen/Insomnia-PhoneGap-Plugin.git
Follow these steps to run the unittest suite in your dev environment:
- Navigate to root SpoonFeedMe ionic project folder
- Run the following command:
bower install
Note: I got a 'permission denied' error when I tried running the above. In case this happens to you, run the install as root:sudo bower install --allow-root
Note 2: If you need to install bower, see: http://bower.io/ - Navigate to SpoonFeedMe/www/tests
- Run
karma start unittests.conf.js
As long as a unit test lives in the SpoonFeedMe/www/tests/unittests directory, it will run when you manually run the unit tests (see Running Unit Tests above) and in Travis.
