The intention of these project was to analyze the sentiment of news sources in Russian, both from inside and outside of Russia. The data was scraped from the following five news sites: Reuters, BBC, Kommersant, Radio Svoboda, Tass. Here is my guestbook. Here is my progress report. Here is my final report.

• This folder contains csv files with the url, name and date of each article scraped.

• This folder contains folders with a few sample articles from the overall data set.

• This folder contains output from lda and lsa topic modeling on various data sets.

• This Jupyter notebook contains code that creates topic models of the data and looks at some scores associated with each of them.

• This notebook gives an overview of the data.

• This notebook continues the previous notebook's overview of data.
