Repository files navigation

Intro

This is the top-level (developer’s) Readme file for the main trunk of the development. Below this point, all relevant information for the software project is found (except email exchange, bugzilla reports, and chatting on the bulletin boards etc.).

See also Coma’s course webpages.

Structure

Currently, the structure is as follows:

  • Readme.org: this file
  • Makefile: top-level Makefile, currently in use for doc + webpage generation
  • ./figures: some pictures (various formats)
  • ./tex: common TeX definitions
  • slides: presentation(s) from the org group
  • spec: specification + material from the task forces
  • handouts: handouts given to the course
  • php1/2: 2 php groups
  • ./tests: the test group(s)
  • requirements: informal requirement spec.
  • sql: stuff from the sql team
  • web: the overall webpage ((tex/hevea)
  • snert: specific remarks about the snert-platform
  • python: some python implementation
  • org: internal org. matters (including email adresses)

Historical remarks

The repository has been resurrected by migrating from cvs via svn (using cvs2svn) and from there to git. Caveats concerning missing branches apply. Also the Snapshots or baselines (original svn revision tags) seem not to be preserved as git labels in the final repository (see below). In general, the contributors were the different students in the course plus the course teachers.

This is the svn subdirectory containing the ``tags'' (aka snapshots or
baselines).

trunk-finalstatusreport: 18.01.2005:

As announced in the group meeting of 11.01.2005,
we required (urgently) a status report + plan for the rest
	    of the semester.

The tag caputres the project status just before
the meeting where the groups report their
            progress/status/plans.

trunk-beforehomerun: Status 11.01.2005
some (uncoordinated) tag to capture the status
before entering the last mile, just to see what's
	    being done.

	   (well, a misnomer, I wanted ``beforehomestretch'',
	    but I mistyped... (ms))

Take care: I ``repaired'' the snapshot insofar
as I removed chair.java (as duplicate of Chair.java)
and password_maker.java as duplicate of Password_maker.java)

Thus, the snapshot is not in pristine condition any more.

trunk-235: Status am 30.11.2004, bevor die Datenbankmodelle
	    vereinheitlicht wurden. Aufgehoben zur Referenz
	    der Alternativen
