Identifying Verifiable Statements In Politician Twitter Feed

This project uses a machine learning approach to classify statements in politicians twitter feed as verifiable or unverifiable. The project is done as a final year project of my computer science course in Monash University.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes. See deployment for notes on how to deploy the project on a live system.

Prerequisites

1. Python 3.6
2. Anaconda
3. NTLK
4. Scikit-learn
5. Request
6. Python-Twitter

Installing

1. Install anaconda (this will install most of the libraries required by the application)
2. Check against the list of prerequisites libraries as some libraries are installed using the pip command
