1. Create a calendar with slug 'temple'
2. Add a menu called 'Main', or define menu name in settings.py (MAIN_MENU_NAME)
3. Add 1st-level treemenu items (eventually database fixtures should be created for this) to the menu

Create a db with UTF-8: CREATE DATABASE maitreya_van CHARACTER SET utf8;

Changing table encoding to UTF-8: alter table <table-name> convert to character set utf8 collate utf8_general_ci;
