- Create a Firebase application.
- Download a service account file.
- Specify service account path
GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS=path/to/service_account.json
For local environment: you can spin up Docker instance
docker run --rm --name pg-docker -e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=docker -d -p 5432:5432 -v postgres-data:/var/lib/postgresql/data postgres
For external connection specify env variable
BIKESHOP_DATABASE=postgresql://user:pass@host:port/bikeshop
Make sure that you create database named bikeshop
and the script infrastructure/relational_db/schema.db
has been run.
Make sure that Python 3.3+ and PIP 18+ are installed
Restore dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt
Start the app:
python server.py
Alternatively, it's easier to use nodemon
for development
nodemon server.py
Nodemon with python3 and local GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS (if credentials are in ./__sensitive__
folder and called sa.json
):
GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS=./__sensitive__/sa.json nodemon --exec "python3" server.py
In order to see all the routes in Swagger, start the app and go to
http://localhost:8082/api/doc
