Traffic crash data analysis tools for CSE 599 Final Project

• crashDataAnalysisTools: This directory holds the code to prepare the data from multiple sources for analysis and analyze the data. It also contains the unit tests and ipython notebook files to demonstrate functionality. It has been initialized with an init file in order to make it into a python project.

• data: This directory holds the multi-source data used in the project. It has sub-directories with specific datasets for testing and example purposes.

• final_poster: Contains a PDF of the final project poster.

• standups: Contains markdown files for weekly standups delivered in class.

• technology review: Contains PDF of slides for technology review delivered in class.

For this project, we selected a BSD license as it is a common license for scientific python (as noted in class). More specifically, it allows the software to be used in private and commercial applications, as well as allowing for the software to be distributed and modified (all of which we the developers are okay with). Further, such a license does not require that state changes to the code be indicated by users.
