The mpfit.py module is (verbatim) from Sergey Koposov's Astrolibpy package at https://github.com/segasai/astrolibpy. It has its own inherited license from the original translation from FORTRAN to C, C to Python, and updates for Python 3 (see module header for details). Since Astrolibpy is not available on PyPI I elect to include the module here directly.
