cc-therapist demo forked from inquire-boulder-chatbot

A chatbot for the climate change comforting

This ongoing project was created as response to current CC situation, my liking of WOE bot, with whom I really enjoy talking and currrent speedy progress of NLP. There are multiple trials, as I am researching which way to go. Here is one based on open-source boulder colorado city hall chatbot which i found here on github. The one based on IBM Watson is also functional, I will link soon to that.

Keywords: RunwayML, GTP2, Python, Flask, Docker, Google Cloud Products

This project is first test using RunwayML for exploration and prototyping and Flask and Docker for deployment on Google Cloud Products. The cloud service connects with a Dialogflow agent via webhooks, which provides the public interface.

The goal is to provide a working, better-than-baseline chatbot that is publicly accessible and can be flexibly scaled up and/or iterated with different datasets.

The text dataset was obtained from a webmaster at the City of Boulder. It has purpose just for the demo. Dataset on climate change is in the works.
