• Deep learning network used for traffic sign detection and recognition, using Python and Theano.

• Runtime detection and recognition for UK traffic signs from natural images (Google Street View).

• Training and validation is done using GTSD, GTSR and BelgiumTS benchmark datasets.

• The project crowls Google Street View images, detect and recognize the traffic signs.

• Later on, the recognized signs is coupled with it's geo-location to form a rich source of info for Google Maps.
