This is an offline input system for the Bangla Dictionary Project. It is intended for user-friendly input system in the making of the Bangla Dictionary database http://bengdict.appspot.com.

This software requires PyQt 4 and Django. To install the requirements on Ubuntu/Debian run the following command:

sudo apt-get install python-qt4 python-django git-core
git clone git://github.com/nsmgr8/bengdict-offline-input.git bengdict

You'll find the software in bengdict folder now.

Go to the software folder, generally bengdict folder and run the main.py file. You can either double click it from your file manager or run it from command line as ./main.py.

To update to the latest version of the software, you need to run the following in the bengdict folder:

git pull
