Minecraft Backup ------------------------------ Utility to backup Minecraft worlds. Requires python 3.2 <http://python.org> Usage ------------------------------ usage: python backup.py [-h] [-a FORMAT] [-f FORMAT] worldDir backupDir [worldName [worldName ...]] positional arguments: worldDir The path to the directory containing the worlds. backupDir The path to the directory where the backups will be written. worldName The worlds to backup. If no worlds are specified, all worlds in worldDir are backed up. optional arguments: -h, --help show this help message and exit -a FORMAT, --archive-format FORMAT The archive format to use. Supported formats are zip, tar.gz, and tar.bz2. Default is tar.gz -f FORMAT, --filename-format FORMAT The format of the backup world which may be a relative path to backupDir. {0} is the current time, {1} is the world name, and {2} is the archive format extension. Default is {0:%Y}-{0:%B}-{0:%d}/{1}-{0:%H%M%S}.{2} Filename Format ------------------------------ See http://docs.python.org/library/string.html#format-string-syntax for more information on the format string.
