Repository files navigation

This branch created by Bryan E. Toth betoth2001 on github

The goal of this branch is to introduce the functionality to create links to a
moved file in the original file's source directory. This can be useful for
anyone who sorts their music into more than one folder. For example consider
that you have a directory containing a collection of songs from different
albums. You would like to place those songs into their typical location, say
genre/artist/album/filename.mp3, to avoid replicates on your system. In
addition, you want to be able to use that original directory for hosting files
on your music server or moving the directory to your music player. The code
changes in this branch allow you to do this painlessly.

You can specify what type of link you want to create in the old source
directory, i.e., hard or soft, and you can specify how the links are named.
You may want the link in the old directory to have the new spiffy name created
by Picard, or maybe the old file names were prefixed with "track numbers" to
play in a certain order, so you want to keep the old file name, but link to the
new file with its updated metadata. The feature can create links with both
names simultaneously.

If hard linking fails, then the code will try to generate a soft link instead.
Links are not created if files do not change directory.
