Easy Search is a QGIS plugin which add a toolbar to quickly find features base on predefined layer and text attribute.

The toolbar contains a text field and a button. Return key in text field as well as pressing the Search button launch the search process. All features of the predefinied layer, whose predefined attribute contains the pattern with insensitive case are selected. Finally the canvas is adjusted to the extent of the results.

Layer and field are selected in settings dialog via the Plugin menu.
