- install PostgreSQL 9.3, PostGIS 2.2 and QuantumGIS 8.5

Creating PostGIS Piabanha and United States (NHDPlus region 03N) Water Information Systems databases:

- Create PostGIS databases piabanha and united_states
- On each database:
 -- run the SQL "CriaTiposFuncoes.sql" and "CriaTabelas.sql"
 -- get the tables contents from https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/28191667/PiabanhaTables.zip (piabanha database) or https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/28191667/UnitedStatesTables.zip (united_states database)
 -- unzip the files to a local directory
 -- edit "GeraTabelas.sql" to point to the actual location of the txt tables images and run the query

Creating MontanteJusante QGIS plugin:

- get the deployed plugin from https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/28191667/DeployedMontanteJusantePlugin.zip
- unzip the deployed plugin and copy the contents to c:\Users\xxx\.qgis2\python\plugins\
- activate the plugin on QGIS

Using the Plugin:

- load hidrografia (from piabanha or from united_states) on a QGIS project
- select layer hidrografia
- click on the MontanteJusante tool (the green watershed tool) and on a river reach in hidrografia
- select one or more information items
-- the selected items will be exhibited as new project layers
