Modify the settings.py file with your environmental settings.

make sure the $DISPLAY variable is correctly setup to your display number

NOTE: it's designed to run with Python >2.7 To make it work in python 3,

• enable conditional imports in the tests

• fix the print statements to print functions

run the grabber as daemon

python camgrab.py | tee -a camgrab.$(date +%F).log &

run the uploader as a one-shot

python camup.py

Make sure the $DISPLAY var is setup with

export DISPLAY=:0

that will work in most cases.

• choose an error management path. Right now exceptions are re raised but never addressed. We need a retry mechanism.

• there is an issue with the auxiliary threads. We need to kill manually
