Create pixel art with vector graphics

I want an easy way to make game graphics. Low resolution pixel art is easy to produce because of the restrictions and the result somehow looks quite good.

Linjal is an attempt to capture the feeling and workflow of making low resolution pixel art but with anti aliased vector graphics. The result should look similar to a sprite that has been upscaled with a clever algorithm.

Simple like pixel art but with an anti-aliased look.

Restrictions increase creativity

When drawing a sprite only two pixels may be needed to make an eye. The two pixels actually represents an ellipse. Linjal will help the artist to put vertices on pixel edges and make it easy to draw circles with a simplified control point system.

Make sharp graphics

To get sharp graphics it is important to draw the curves along the edges of pixels. If a curve slightly overlaps the wrong pixels it will result in a blurry image. Horizontal and vertical lines and also the extents of circles must lie along pixel edges.
