A project designed to read in and classify supernova as either Type I or Type II using a parametric fit of each supernova for classification.

#Run the demo In order for the LightCurve Visualization to run, make sure you have downloaded the data from here and placed it as a folder data/ at the root level of this git repository.

Then cd into the GUICode directory and run the command 'python GUIPlotter.py'

Use the GUI plotter as guided by your intuition, and by emailing me if necessary at tayebzaidi@gmail.com
