GIT WORKFLOW ON JUPYTER TERMINAL
Cloning the repo in to Jupiter
- mkdir Lab10 wherever you want to work from in the terminal
- git clone https://github.com/ymehra/Lab10
- Open it from the file viewer in jupyter.
- git config --global core.editor "vim" - sets the editor to use vim not nano do whatever you want.
- git config --global user.name "Your Name"
- git config --global user.email you@example.com
To update from terminal in jupiter
- git commit
- write commit message in vim to finish commit
- After successful commit, git push https://github.com/ymehra/Lab10
To update your repo in jupyter
- git pull
