Gumby Elf provides a developer facing alternative to setuptools+wheel.
It's a experimental platform for building and distributing Python packages wit the intent of exploring different ways to declare, build, compose and test python packages.
The initial version is only able to generate wheels out of very basic predeclared metadata,
