Python with PyQT4 for GUI
- Our packet analyzer sniffs (capture) packets sent or received through a chosen network interface, shows them in a tabular format and filters them according to a given protocol (TCP, UDP, DNS,…etc.) or a given IP address (IP=x.x.x.x).
- It also shows the details of each packet, when it’s clicked, and its contents’ hexadecimal value.
- Moreover, you can save captured packets in the format of “.pcap”.
- Start/ Stop/ Save/ Apply filter buttons.
- Available network interfaces list.
- Text box to write wanted filter.
- Tabular view for captured packets.
- Areas to show packets’ details and hexa-values.
