Always pull changes before you push

git pull

When you are ready to commit and push changes run the following commands in git bash:

navagate to the root directory then:

git add . git commit -m "Type a message here very briefly explaining what you changed (i.e. 2 sentences or less" git push

This will commit your changes and push them to the online repository
