Essence is a collection of software tools that allow monitoring of electric grids. Essence is designed to identify anything that impacts grid operations. Included in Essence is the capability to capture packets, analyze and report on network traffic in a web interface, a network mapping tool, a machine learning engine for reporting anomolous traffic, and an application that allows the generation of MultiSpeak packets for testing purposes.
