exponent
is an experimental toolkit for building applications with a fractal architecture.
Uses a number of other technologies:
- Twisted, an event-driven networking engine
- Axiom, an object serialization layer for SQLite
- AMP, an RPC protocol
- Foolscap, an object-capability library for distributed systems
There were several tiny releases grabbing things from an internal project, so they've been coalesced here.
Features:
- AMP command locators
- Long-term substore storage on a filesystem
- In-memory write lock (directory) for long-term storage
- Basic authentication framework (multi-factor auth ready)
- Password-based authentication support
- Session-based authentication support
- Rudimentary tutorial
