The MWATS pipeline. Written by Martin Bell with many contributions from Natasha + GLEAM. Latest update Aug 2016 #################### Components #################### parset.txt: Settings to run the pipeline, including calibration and imaging options. locs_parset.txt: Location settings, including output directories and the location of the calibration file. SIP_128T_parallel_phase_3.py: Main imaging and calibration code. run_pipe.py: Main script to run the pipeline on raijin. obs_id_list.txt: List of observations to reduce. add_log.py: Code to add the supercomputer output to the fits headers. ###################### Workflow ###################### 1.) Get list of observations to reduce. 2.) Create calibrator file (.cal) using ft_beam.py 3.) Put cal file location into locs_parset.txt 3.) python run_pipe.py The pipeline will get_data.py > pre_proc_pipe.py > SIP_128T_parallel_phase_3.py. 4.) python add_log.py. This will add the history into the headers. It has to be run after the main pipeline because it needs the log files produced after processing. ####################### To run this code on a single node machine: import os id_file = open('obs_id_list.txt', 'r') for line in id_file: os.system('python get_data.py '+line) os.system('python pre_proc_pipe.py '+line)
