Photon

Introduction

A simple python script for simulating a photon moving through 2D space and reflecting off circular mirrors with integer center coordinates and radius of 1/3.

It was created as a project for the DisCont mathematics 2 course at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb.

Installation

Requires at least python 3.6.

pip install -r requirements.txt

Usage

python photon.py

Default Simulation

  • Initial position: (0.5, 0.26)
  • Initial direction: to the right (angle = 0)
  • Distance to cover: 20
