Mamba actually stands for MAthematical Morphology liBrAry and contains a very wide range of 2D and 3D operators based on mathematical morphology.

Mamba was created and is updated with the following philosophy:

• Portable, with support of multiple platforms and architectures
• Simple
• Fast
• Fit for educational purposes and for applications prototyping
• Free (through free licensing, see the about page)
