1. clone or download repository
2. install Python2.7 (if not already installed)
3. on Windows (32-bit): run check_and_install_modules other platforms: install corresponding packages manually
4. run nmdcserver.py
5. open browser and go to localhost:8080 (unless otherwise specified in nmdcserver.py)
