pip install -e .

For the local high-performance simulator, follow instructions in qiskit-terra repo.

For me, it was sufficient to remove stuff from CMakeLists.txt until it works, then mkdir out; cd out; cmake -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER=icpc ..; make
