I downloaded this source code from https://web.archive.org/web/20080820041248/http://www.stoicmonkey.com/, as original homepage is down. The Stoic Monkey is author of this code. According to blogpost and COPYING.txt it is licensed as GPL2.
Before first run exec:
python setup.py build_ext --inplace
Then to run:
python vroomDemo.py

% python vroomDemo.py
I've tested it on i686 Linux with Python versions 2.2 through 2.4.
If you already have the pygame and Numeric python modules installed on your
system you can probably delete these subdirectories to save disk space.
