PyVDT: a PsychoPy-based reimplementation of the Visual Monitoring Task (VMT; Knutson et al., 1991).

SYNOPSIS
The PyVDT (Hansen, 2016), like the VMT, displays single digits, one at a time, on a computer monitor, and participants are instructed to press a key whenever an ”even-odd-even” pattern of digits is displayed.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
PsychoPy (http://www.psychopy.org/).

CONFIGURATION
Adjust configuration options (screen resolution and refresh rate) inside pyvdt.ini.

HOW TO USE
Open pyvdt.py inside PsychoPy (Coder).
Click the green icon to run the code.
The program outputs sensitivity measures (d') and diagnostics to .csv files in the program directory.
To quit the program during testing, press q.
