IMPORTANT NOTE: Only tested on Arch Linux and Ubuntu 14.10

Install required packages for Arch Linux

    pacman -S nodejs python2-gevent python2-ws4py python2-texttable
    cd server/
    npm install

Install required packages for Ubuntu 14.10

    apt-get install nodejs python-gevent python-ws4py python-texttable
    cd server/
    npm install

How to run server?

    cd server/
    node main.js

How to run Javascript client?

Open your favorite browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000/. Currently only Firefox and Chrome tested.

How to run python client?

    cd python/
    python2 main.py -a [agent name]

Agents are below the agents/ directory. See existing files as examples

Existing agents:
    idle: do nothing
    drunken: go straight and turn when kicking walls or bombs
    bomber: put bombs and avoid bombing as best as possible

Want to using python 3 (on Arch Linux)?

ws4py is easy:
    pacman -S python-ws4py

However, gevent and texttable are tricky
For gevent, official version does not support python 3. @fantix's fork is available.

    sudo pip install -U git+https://github.com/fantix/gevent

For texttable, we need the git version because the latest official release does not support python 3 yet
    sudo pip install -U git+https://github.com/bufordtaylor/python-texttable
