The software you'll need

Getting the Guide code
----------------------
svn co https://videobomb.com/svn/channelguide2/trunk miroguide

You won't be able to make checkins, but you can make patches to send
using:

svn diff -u > here-are-my-changes.diff

Setting up MySQL
----------------
I won't go into setting up MySQL.

Setting up Django
-----------------
svn co http://code.djangoproject.com/svn/django/trunk@6051 django
cd django
python setup.py build
python setup.py install (you may have to do this step with sudo)

Setting up the Guide
--------------------
cd miroguide
cp channelguide/sitespecific.py.template channelguide/sitespecific.py

You'll want to edit channelguide/sitespecific.py to fill in all the
"FILL ME IN" parts.

If you don't have an SMTP server running, you'll probably want to comment out channelguide/guide/util.py:173-174

python channelguide/manage.py syncdb (sets up the database)

To run the Guide
----------------
python channelguide/manage.py runserver (runs a development HTTP server
on http://localhost:8000)
