Description

The Clipboard Media Server is a Python script that publishes a media
stream URL on the clipboard over the D-Bus, according to the Gnome
MediaServer2 spec.

Requirements

dbus-python, pygtk

Usage
-------------

Run the run.py script to start the server.

Practical Use
-------------

How might one put such a simple tool to use?

1. Install the Video Download Helper extension for Firefox.
2. Install and launch the Rygel UPnP server, with the External plugin.
3. Find a media stream of interest on the web with Firefox.
4. Use Video Download Helper to copy the stream URL to the clipboard.
5. Watch the stream on your DLNA-capable TV or other device.
