Getting a copy of the project up and running on your local machine. Supported Platform: GNU/Linux.

Open the terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run the following command to install the software dependencies:

sudo apt install python3 libgtk-3-dev gir1.2-gtksource-3.0 gir1.2-goocanvas-2.0 python-cairo-dev python3-lxml python3-goocalendar python3-bs4 python3-soupsieve python-gi-dev python3-gi python3-gi-cairo gir1.2-gtk-3.0

Steps to install the Mosaicode in a virtual environment or in the operational system directory.

Installing python virtual environment via terminal:

sudo apt install python3.8-venv

Setting the virtual environment:

1. Create the environment: python3 -m venv <virtual environment name>
2. Active the environment: source <virtual environment path>/<virtual environment name>/bin/activate
3. Install prerequisites: sudo apt install libgirepository1.0-dev gcc libcairo2-dev pkg-config python3-dev
4. Install PyGObject: python -m pip install PyGObject
5. Install Mosaicode: python setup.py install

Run via terminal:

sudo python setup.py install
