A python script for helping with Jekyll tasks. The goal was to come up with a script to do things like add posts and drafts automatically with the correct format and header syntax.
###Installation
Right now I don't have a fancy installer or package. I do have the script setup so that everything is in Hyde.py. If you download that script and put it in your Jekyll directory it should work.
For right now, it assumes that posts go in a relative directory called "_posts."
It also assumes that pages go in a directory with the given title and creates an "index.md" from a template in the code.
The goal is to make these things configurable, but for right now I'm the only user so they are getting done as I refactor.
###Usage
####Posts Create a new post:
./Hyde.py add post "name of the post"
Will create: _posts/YYYY-MM-DD-name-of-the-post.md in the current working directory.
Create a draft post:
./Hyde.py draft post "name of the post"
Will create: _drafts/posts/YYYY-MM-DD-name-of-the-post.md in the current working directory.
####Pages Create a new page:
./Hyde.py add page "About"
Will create: About/index.md in the current working directory.
