pyrom is a Python library for extracting metadata from ROM images.
It was developed as a helper library for http://launchpad.net/netplay-lobby

Currently supported image formats:

 * SNES: headerless/headered/uninterleaved/interleaved LoROM/HiROM
 * Genesis: RAW, SMD and MD
 * NES: iNES
