#DDEXUI

DDEXUI provides a user interface for supplying digital music in a ddex compliant way. It aims to abstract the complexities of ddex for ease of use by smaller independent labels and artists.

DDEXUI is currently in development, but parts of the ddex spec have already been covered.

requires python3.3.

To start the program run:

python metadata_form.py

Assuming you have pip3 installed:

pip install -r requirements.txt

install pip3:

pip install -r requirements.txt

#install of pillow and lxml will fail. I haven't yet managed to install lxml on windows, but it is only a dependency on the tests

easy_install Pillow

DDEXUI uses the awesome cx_freeze library to package itself into a windows executable that can be run without python being installed. To package the current version of the code to an exe, install cx_freeze and run:

python unpackEgg.py Pillow
python setup.py build

this will create the executable version of the program in:

build/exe.win-XX/metadata_form.exe

To run the exe, users will need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package that matches the processor architecture 32bit 64bit
