Overview
--------

This project is a prototype/demo Django web application for generic
management of items (including ingest, metadata editing, etc.) in a
Fedora repository.

System Dependencies
-------------------

generic-ingest requires the following network resources:

  * LDAP for user authentication
  * A relational database for user and session information
  * Persistent ID manager for minting ARKs to use as Fedora object pids
