CSE 131 Reduced-C Compiler Project Copyright (C) 2008-2015 Garo Bournoutian and Rick Ord University of California, San Diego END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT Please read this END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT carefully before copying, downloading, or using any portion of the Software. If you do not read and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions defined in this document, you are not permitted to use the Software or any portion of it. DEFINITIONS The following definitions apply to the terms and conditions included in this EULA. The term "Software" means the CSE 131 Reduced-C software framework, its modules, classes, components, all program files, source code, and example code which are part of the Software package, as well as any portion of them. This includes, but is not limited to, Java source files, CUP grammar files, assembly code files, Makefiles, and scripts. The term "Authors" means Garo Bournoutian and Rick Ord. TERMS OF AGREEMENT This is a legal agreement between you, the end user, and the Authors of the Software. By copying, downloading, or using the Software, you are consenting to be bound by this agreement. If you do not agree to those terms, you may not use the Software for any purposes. If any provision of this agreement is invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions of this agreement will remain valid and fully enforceable. The Software is copyrighted and protected by copyright laws and international treaties. You cannot transfer, sublicense, or resell the license unless you obtain explicit written authorization from one of the Authors. All rights not explicitly granted by this agreement are reserved. The Software source code is provided to you, the end user, under this license agreement, and does not constitute transfer of any legal ownership to the Software or its source code. The Software and its source code are provided to you for private, non-commercial use. You may only use the Software and its source code according to the following conditions: - This license agreement and all copyright notices shall not be modified and must be preserved in all copies or substantial portions of the Software. - You may examine, use, copy, debug, modify, or build derivative work upon the Software and its source code. - You may not publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, nor make the Software, its source code, and/or any derivative code publicly available. TERMINATION Any one of the Authors may terminate this agreement at any time and without prior notice if you violate it or any conditions contained herein. As a result the Authors may cancel your license. You must immediately stop using the Software upon termination. Termination of this agreement will not limit any other rights of the Authors. Any provision of this agreement that is intended to survive termination of this agreement will survive termination. EXPORT REGULATIONS The Software may be subject to export or import regulations, and you agree to comply strictly with all such laws and regulations. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. In no event shall the Authors be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the Software or the use or other dealings in the Software.
