A tool to manage and automatically apply xrandr configurations.
xprofile is compatible with and tested on python versions:
- 2.6
- 2.7
- 3.2
- 3.3
- 3.4
A universal installation method is to use pip (the pip package is available here):
$ pip install --upgrade xprofileBefore installing xprofile with pip see if a package for your Operating System exists.
To install xprofile for arch linux you can use the AUR package:
# This is an example using yaourt
$ yaourt -S xprofileOnce xprofile has been installed you can execute the following command to get some help:
$ xprofile --help
usage: xprofile [-h] [--verbose] [--config CONFIG] [--version]

--verbose output more verbosely
--config CONFIG config file to read profiles from
--version show program's version number and exit
subcommands:
The following commands are available
{list,current,generate,activate}
list list all available xrandr profiles
current get information about the current active profile
generate generate a new profile and print to stdout
activate activate the given profile or automatically select oneTo get detailed help for a specific subcommand use:
