EventLogger is a website that allows you to log different events during your life. It is currently targeted for Iranian users only.
This is primarily written using Python, Django, Bootstrap, and jQuery in 2014.
You should already know what is virtualenv, preferably virtualenvwrapper at this stage:
$ mkvirtualenv --clear myenv
Now, you need the EventLogger project files in your workspace:
$ cd /path/to/your/workspace
$ git clone git@github.com:rowhani/EventLogger.git eventlogger && cd eventlogger
Right there, you will find the requirements.txt file that has all the great debugging tools, django helpers and some other cool stuff. To install them, active your virtualenv
and simply type:
$ pip install -r requirements.txt
$ pip install --allow-external django-admin-tools --allow-unverified django-admin-tools django-admin-tools==0.5.1
wsgihandler.py
file is necessary for WSGI gateways (such as uWSGI) to run your Django application and also required from Django itself.
Run the following to install the database
python manage.py syncdb
and python manage.py migrate
python manage.py runserver 0.0.0.0:8000 --insecure
or
python manage.py runserver_plus
