Open Source ERP – OSERP

A Quickbooks-inspired Django based ERP that is completely open source. This app will be a 12Factor app that will be easily deployable to public clouds such as Amazon EC2 by using PaaS's such as Heroku and Deis.

What is OSERP

OSERP is an open source ERP that allows you to store details about your Customers and Products, enter Orders and generate Invoices for them. OSERP also allows you to generate in-depth Sales Reports and provides you with granular Analytics.

Why use OSERP

With the rising cost of doing business today, it is a necessity for organizations large and small to avoid unnecessary expenses. OSERP is 100% free and is falls under the Apache License, Version 2.0. That means that it is completely free to download, use and modify.

Since OSERP is a 12Factor app, it is very easy to deploy to public clouds like Amazon EC2 by using PaaS's such as Heroku and Deis. This enables you to enjoy all the strengths and cost benefits of the cloud.

OSERP is completely open source. That means that the code is 100% transparent and customizable to your needs. It also means that the open source community, which consists of experienced Software Engineers, will be continuously be looking to improve and solidify the product.

Getting Started

Once OSERP reaches v.0.1.0, it will be deployable as a 12Factor app via Heroku and Deis.

At that time, we will update this section with technical instructions on how to do this.
