If the python package installer is not installed
sudo apt-get install python-pip python-devYou need the following libraries
sudo apt-get install libffi-dev libssl-devInstall the command line interface
sudo pip install enlightns-clior
sudo easy_install enlightns-cliIf you don't have python installed
brew install pythonYou might need these libraries
brew install pkg-config libffiInstall the command line interface
sudo pip install enlightns-cliIf python is not installed
sudo yum install python-devel python-setuptoolsIf GCC the C compiler is not installed, you might get the following error

cd enlightns-cli
pip install --editable .Important notice you can test your changes without uninstalling and reinstalling.
make testIf you wish to uninstall the command line
pip uninstall -y enlightns-cliHow to use the command line tool to configure your hostname to be updated periodically.

# configure your record that you previously created on the dashboard at https://enlightns.com/
