About

Smartproxy is a Twisted daemon that implements the CouchDB-Lounge hash to proxy and re-reduce requests to backend CouchDB nodes. It supplements dumbproxy with support for views, changes and other high level API operations.

The hash function is the same as used by BigCouch.
