PACKAGE DESCRIPTIONS:

kinect_numpy_tools (USE THIS ONE!): Contains numpy_msg tool, which generates (de)serializers that convert ROS msgs to numpy arrays. Currently supported message types are Image and PointCloud2 (in the format generated by the Kinect).

rgbd_numpy: Development and testbed for kinect_numpy_tools. Different nodes try different methods of of numpy-izing PointCloud2 msgs.
