This is a release of Upstream, the ISC-USENET River uploader.
Consider this software to be of ALPHA quality.

* Python 2.7
* gevent 0.13.0 or later
* python-yenc
* par2


[USAGE]
usage: upstream.py [-h] -s SERVER [-o OUTPUT] [-u USERNAME] [-p PASSWORD]
                   [-c CONNECTIONS] [-r] [-m META [META ...]]
                   [-f FILEMETA [FILEMETA ...]] [-n NFO]
                   [--filenfo FNFO [FNFO ...]] [--ssl] [--port PORT]
                   [--subject SUBJECT] [-d DOMAIN] [-g GROUP]
                   [--poster POSTER] [--articlesize ARTICLESIZE]
                   [--segmentsize SEGMENTSIZE] [--parblocks PARBLOCKS]
                   [--parthreads PARTHREADS]
                   files [files ...]

Upload river files to usenet

positional arguments:
  files                 Files to be added to river file

optional arguments:
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit
  -s SERVER, --server SERVER
                        Usenet server to connect to
  -o OUTPUT, --output OUTPUT
                        Where to output river file (default is stdout)
  -u USERNAME, --username USERNAME
                        Usenet username to connect with
  -p PASSWORD, --password PASSWORD
                        Usenet password to connect with
  -c CONNECTIONS, --connections CONNECTIONS
                        Max connections to usenet
  -r, --rlink           Create river link (currently always true)
  -m META [META ...], --meta META [META ...]
                        Metadata for river file (e.g. -m name="river"
                        description="river")
  -f FILEMETA [FILEMETA ...], --filemeta FILEMETA [FILEMETA ...]
                        Metadata for file contained within river file (e.g. -f
                        fileinriverfile.mp3/name="river"
                        fileinriverfile.mp3/description="river")
  -n NFO, --nfo NFO     NFO file to upload with this river
  --filenfo FNFO [FNFO ...]
                        NFO file to upload with a river file (e.g. --filenfo
                        fileinriverfile.mp3=nfofile.nfo)
  --ssl                 Connect to usenet with SSL
  --port PORT           Port to connect to usenet with (default 119; 563 with
                        SSL)
  --subject SUBJECT     Subject in usenet articles
  -d DOMAIN, --domain DOMAIN
                        Domain in message IDs <mid@domain>
  -g GROUP, --group GROUP
                        Usenet newsgroup to post articles in
  --poster POSTER       The from header in articles
  --articlesize ARTICLESIZE
                        The size of uploaded articles
  --segmentsize SEGMENTSIZE
                        Number of articles in a segment
  --parblocks PARBLOCKS
                        For 1/parblocks redundancy (4 parblocks is 25%
                        redundancy)
  --parthreads PARTHREADS
                        Max number of par2 instances running at once (should
                        be number of cores plus one)
