NOSTRADAMUS (NOwcasting of Severe Thunderstorms by near-Real-time Artificial Intelligence Data Analysis of MUltiple Sensors) is intended to nowcasting Thunderstorms and its hazards. The first module detects and retrieves rainrates from MSG SEVIRI observations.

The first algorithm insite this package is designed to detect and retrieve precipitation from MSG/SEVIRI IR measurements. It is described in:
