A half-finished science-themed text adventure, in which you venture into the "Standard Model Dungeon" in pursuit of the Higgs Boson.

This code is half-finished, bug-ridden and ugly. It was one of my first programming projects and was undertaken with no software development experience or training, and little in the way of guidance. If you use it, use it with care, and I recommend you avoid reading the code. It's not pleasant to look at.

Why leave it up on Github, then? Partly as cloud backup, partly because I have a sentimental attachment to the game (I did put a lot of work into it!), and partly because I think there's some merit in a 'warts and all' public record of one's work. I might take it down at a later date, if I am presented with stronger arguments to the contrary.
