You can execute following scripts:

sailing.py  - the main program, some symbolics and also plotting.
sail_interact.py - equilibrium velocity and some vector visualization
plot_force.py   - polar (countuor) plot of the force on the boat 
plot_force_interact.py - plot_force but with interations
sailing_simulator.py - uses vpython to simulate the numerical solution 
                       of the boat, course can be changed interactively 
The sympy in 0.6.7-git is required, and also matplotlib and numpy.
